These terms are an agreement between you and Deadalus System covering your use of ChurchNotes (published as "Church Notes - Live Notetaker"). By using the app you accept them. If you purchase through the App Store, the store's standard terms also apply.
ChurchNotes is a personal sermon note-taking app: it records, transcribes on your device, detects spoken Bible verses, and generates structured notes with AI assistance. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for complying with the laws of your location and the policies of your church when recording. Where consent for recording is required, obtain it before you record.
Notes, bullet points, titles, reflections, and prayer points are generated with AI and may contain errors, omissions, or misattributions. Always check them against Scripture and your own recollection. They are a study aid, not a substitute for the sermon or the Bible.
Bible text shown in the app is the World English Bible (WEB), a public-domain translation.
ChurchNotes offers three tiers:
The note allowance is counted per account (or per device for guests). We may adjust tier limits for future customers; active subscriptions keep what they paid for.
Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.
You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of the service, attempts to circumvent purchase or usage limits, or unlawful use. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen. Deletion takes effect on your device immediately and starts a 45-day grace period, during which signing back in restores your account and synced notes; after 45 days everything is permanently deleted. Your recordings, transcripts, and notes are yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to operate the service: processing transcript text to generate your notes and storing your notes to sync them between your devices. We claim no other rights over your content.
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, your on-device notes remain readable in the app on that device.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deadalus System is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of recordings, notes, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
